Transit trade often shows a mismatch: the crude bill of lading sits with the offshore SPV while the financing need is at an onshore bank. Two title records tell different stories, and that gap is exactly where double pledging and one-cargo-multiple-sale fraud live.

The fix is to attach a SHA-256 hash on the onshore warehouse receipt, anchoring the offshore SPV's bill of lading number, vessel, voyage, and load port. Every title transfer first updates the bill status offshore, then syncs the new hash back to the onshore receipt, so the two sides always reconcile.

Before lending, the bank checks not just the onshore receipt but the current holder and status of the offshore bill. Only when the hash and holder match does the loan proceed; any mismatch is blocked outright.

This chain stitches “goods abroad” and “money at home” into one traceable title line, blocking double pledging at the source and cutting the due-diligence cost of cross-border finance.
