How Blockchain Notarization Works

The core principle of blockchain notarization is anchoring the SHA-256 hash of transaction data onto the blockchain. SHA-256 is a one-way hash function where any tiny change to the original data produces a completely different hash value. Once the hash is written to the blockchain, it creates an immutable evidence record with a clear timestamp. Verification simply requires recalculating the hash of the original data and comparing it with the on-chain record.

Evidence Coverage

SNSUC blockchain notarization covers key nodes throughout the trade process: listing information hash is anchored when cargo is listed; inquiry record hash is anchored when an inquiry is submitted; deal contract hash is anchored when a deal is confirmed; receipt data hash is anchored when a receipt is issued. Each node is independently notarized, forming a complete transaction evidence chain where any data tampering at any stage is immediately detectable.

Public Verification

All on-chain evidence records are publicly queryable through the SNSUC blockchain explorer. Users can enter a transaction hash or block number to view notarization time, evidence type, original hash value and other information. The verification process is completely transparent, not relying on SNSUC platform's own credit endorsement. Any third party can independently verify transaction authenticity.

Legal Significance of Evidence

Blockchain evidence provides strong electronic evidence support for trade disputes. Under China's Electronic Signature Law and the Supreme People's Court provisions on internet court proceedings, blockchain evidence data can be used as electronic evidence in judicial proceedings. SNSUC's on-chain evidence records contain clear timestamps and data hashes, providing technically credible proof of transaction authenticity, helping protect parties' rights in trade disputes, financing audits, compliance reviews and other scenarios.
