What is a Digital Warehouse Receipt
A digital warehouse receipt is the electronic upgrade of a traditional receipt. The SNSUC system digitizes receipt information (product, quantity, warehouse, holder, issuer) and generates a unique SHA-256 hash fingerprint for each receipt via blockchain technology. Once anchored on-chain, it becomes an immutable proof of cargo ownership. Compared to paper receipts, digital receipts offer significant advantages in anti-forgery, verifiability, traceability, and online transferability.
Issuance Process
The digital receipt issuance process has four steps: First, the warehouse receives and inspects the cargo. Second, the system generates a receipt number and initial data. Third, the SHA-256 hash of receipt data is calculated and anchored on-chain. Fourth, the holder receives an issuance notification with the on-chain transaction ID. After issuance, the receipt status is "Active" and can be publicly queried on the Trust Certificate page.
Cargo Rights Transfer
SNSUC supports online transfer of cargo rights for digital receipts. Holders can submit transfer intents on the receipt detail page, specifying the transferee company and transfer quantity. After submission, the operations team reviews and follows up within 1 business day. Upon completion, the receipt status updates to "Transferred" with synchronized on-chain records, ensuring full traceability of ownership changes.
WMS Synchronization
The digital receipt system synchronizes in real-time with the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring receipt ownership records match actual warehouse storage. The system performs regular ownership consistency checks, automatically alerting and flagging for audit when discrepancies are found, effectively mitigating ownership dispute risks.
