Smart Contracts Trigger Automated Receipt Delivery, Shortening Transshipment Settlement
On top of SHA-256-attested digital receipts, SNSUC introduces condition-triggered smart contracts: when payment arrival and title status both meet preset rules, delivery executes automatically without line-by-line manual reconciliation. Transshipment settlement compresses from 'T+days' to near real-time, cutting reconciliation cost and operational risk, and giving high-frequency transshipment a scalable clearing backbone.

Transshipment settlement has long suffered from information silos: buyer finance, warehouse systems and logistics ledgers sit with different parties, so each delivery is reconciled back and forth across sides — slow and error-prone. SNSUC's digital receipts already solved trusted title; the next step is automating the delivery act itself. Concretely, the smart contract listens on-chain for two events — the bank's payment-arrival receipt and the warehouse's title-status change. When both satisfy preset rules (amount matches, batch consistent), the contract automatically moves the receipt's ownership from seller to buyer and emits a tamper-evident delivery certificate. No human in the loop, no reliance on a single central clearer. The effect shows on two axes: settlement moves from T+days to near real-time, accelerating cash recovery; and manual reconciliation is replaced by algorithms, curbing operational error and conduct risk. For SNSUC's 13 categories — especially high-turnover fuel-oil and bitumen transshipment — this clearing backbone spreads per-deal cost thin, giving scaled transshipment sustainable marginal economics.
