USD/JPY at 157.68 and USD/KRW at 1,357.2 both soften, lifting delivered import cost; a weak won gives Korean cargoes room to shave dollar quotes while EUR/CNY 7.6395 revives European comparisons.

USD/JPY at 157.26 (-0.99%) and USD/KRW at 1352.63 (-1.01%) show the dollar softening against both East Asian currencies, while USD/CNY holds at 6.7125. For SNSUC's USD-denominated crude purchases, RMB cost is driven by crude alone; re-export counterparties in Japan and Korea gain purchasing power in their own currencies.
